acting
In this class, your student will learn how to create a character through discussion of basic motivations, environment, spatial awareness, and ensemble-building. Introductory material and techniques will enable students to understand how they build a character from the ground up. As a result, students will enhance their acting skills while working on physical and vocal awareness, physical comedy, cold reading, and improvisation. More importantly, your student will have fun exploring the world through a different set of eyes.
music
Your voice is an instrument—learn how to hone it! This course focuses on basic vocal technique, allowing students to learn and develop positive breathing habits, posture, good diction, phrasing, and interpretation of song literature. Specific and age-appropriate exercises and techniques will help students to develop understanding of the vocal process while gaining exposure to fundamental musical theatre material.
theatre dance
This course is ideal for beginner dancers who want to break into musical theatre! These classes will focus on a mixture of theatre dance forms including jazz, ballet, and tap. By the time it’s finished, your student will be dancing with confidence and a smile!
