Summers have always been a heartfelt time at Theatre Under The Stars. In 1968 our late founder, Frank M. Young, planted a seed at Miller Outdoor Theatre which has grown into the organization you know today. Fifty years later, TUTS is proud to continue the tradition of sharing Broadway-calibre musicals with Houstonians free of charge every summer. TUTS summer productions have multi-generational appeal and provide entertainment for the whole family. Free tickets create the opportunity for ALL Houstonians to experience quality musical theatre.

Our community impact over the years has been astounding! In the last decade, we have served more than 374,000 attendees at Miller Outdoor Theatre. Because of your generous donations, more than 34,000 people were able to attend Miller last summer. We take pride in helping improve the quality of life for all Houstonians and that includes increasing access to the arts for those who can’t attend due to socio-economic barriers.
