The Studio  ...adventures in learning... For the student newly attracted to musical theatre and the professional seeking enrichment. Early morning, evening classes, Saturday workshops, winter and summer camps.

The Academy  …getting serious… the 24 week curriculum (September through May) of the HSMT Academy is designed to challenge the career-track student in professional techniques of acting, singing, and dancing. Students are auditioned by the faculty at the beginning of the year for acceptance and placement.

Since 1972, the Humphreys School of Musical Theatre (the official training wing of Theatre Under The Stars) has provided a superb and thrilling forum for musical theatre training for children and adults. Housed in the TUTS Studios at the Hobby Center for the Performing Arts, its year-round schedule is conducted by an outstanding professional faculty and renowned resident artists who inspire and train students.
